What do Leaders do?

Leaders are a very important part of the Shuttle Smash program. They lead our Junior and Shuttle Smasher participants, building a love for physical activity, being active and having fun at the same time!

Becoming a Shuttle Smash Leader is a rewarding experience, allowing individuals to make a meaningful contribution to their community. Leaders are there to introduce kids to badminton with positive and supportive encouragement. The program is all about fun, so our leaders need to embody this and create opportunities for kids to enjoy both structured and free play.

The focus is on improvement rather than ‘winning’ and all kids should receive equal time and attention.

Can Anyone Lead?

Yes! Anyone can be a leader, there is no need for badminton experience or being an experienced coach.

The Shuttle Smash program is simple and fun to deliver with groups of kids and the tailored online training programs that will equip any future Leader with both the badminton knowledge and the group management knowledge to be an awesome Leader!
