Badminton Australia

Para Badminton Falcons

Para Badminton first appeared at the Tokyo Paralympics in 2021 and has since continued to thrive. The Para Falcons include Australia’s leading Para badminton athletes, who work with our coaches and athlete support networks to achieve success nationally and internationally against the world’s best players.

Through the support of the Australian Sports Commission (ASC), Paralympics Australia and Badminton Oceania, athletes in the Para Performance Programs receive Individual Performance Plans (IPP), targeted funding support and access to a range of performance support services. Athletes also benefit from National and International training camps, providing valuable exposure to an elite training environment and high‑performance team culture. This structure supports our broader objective of growing Para badminton and enabling more athletes to progress toward success on the world stage. To learn more about how athletes can progress through the system, view the Para Performance Pathways document here.
