Entries for Australian player are now open for the VICTOR Oceania Para Badminton Championships 2022. The event will take place in Melbourne from 29-31 July 2022 at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC).

Entries – Australian Player Entries are due by noon (AEST) on Tuesday 14^th June, 2022. Players must be a member and in good standing with their State/Territory organisation to enter and must be compliant with the Badminton Oceania event entry requirements.

The costs for event entry set by Badminton Oceania are:

• AUD 50 for Victoria State players not requiring tournament transport
• AUD 100 for all other players
• AUD 50 per person for coach, team manager, official, physiotherapist or accompanying person requiring transpor
• Once entry fees are paid, they are non-refundable if the person does not attend the competition or is classified as NE. Fees are refunded if there are not enough entries to have a competition. Payment of the entry fee is required before a player can participate in the tournament. 

Note: Badminton Australia will refund the event entry to participants who are from outside of Victoria after the event. For any person suffering financial hardship can contact the BA office to discuss further options.

• We have confirmed a tournament hotel: Holiday Inn Express Melbourne Little Collins which has 13 wheelchair accessible rooms
• We have secured some special tournament rates, see the attached flyer
• Players and officials staying at this hotel will be eligible for tournament transport from the airport to the hotel 
• Van transport will be provided for WH players to MSAC staying at this hotel
• All other players and officials staying at this hotel will be provided with a tram pass for transport to and from MSAC
