A crop of prospective badminton talent has been selected to represent Australia at the 2023 VICTOR Oceania Junior Mixed Championships.

The squad of eight athletes, comprising of four men and women each, were named following the announcement of the event, after the cancellation in both 2021 and 2022.

Selected men’s players are Jie Ying Chan (Alpha Badminton, NSW), Frederick Zhao (Pro Badminton Academy, VIC), Shrey Dhand (Play Badminton Club, VIC), and Timothy Sentosa (An-Yu Badminton Academy, WA).

Meanwhile the women’s players are Catrina Tan (PAOC, SA), Dania Nugroho (PAOC, SA), Jazmine Lam (Pro Badminton Academy, VIC), and Sydney Tjonadi (Alpha Badminton, NSW).

The VICTOR Oceania Junior Mixed Team Championships will take place in New Zealand from 10 – 12 February, 2023.
