Shuttle Smash is the best way to introduce kids to the sport of badminton!

Designed to develop young children’s physical, cognitive, social and psychological abilities, badminton is a sport that is low-impact, high intensity and full of fun!

The Shuttle Smash program aims to develop fundamental movement skills, introduce the sport of badminton whilst taking part in engaging game-based activities.

The Low Down

What You Get: A Shuttle Smash Racquet and durable shuttle

What to Bring: Wear clothes for sport and some comfortable runners

How Long You’re Playing: Shuttle Smash sessions typically go for 45 – 90 minutes depending on the provider. 

Who Can Play: Anyone between the ages of 5 and 12 years old, no minimum skill is required as this program is for everyone

Shuttle Smash isn’t just a program for kids – parents can get involved too! We’re all about families on court together, having fun learning and celebrating those sporting ‘firsts’ with their Shuttle Smashers. It is super easy to help out, even if you have no prior badminton experience. All the resources are provided so you know exactly what to do.
