Badminton Australia, Sport Integrity Australia and our State and Territory members are working together to keep badminton as safe as possible. As part of this work coaches, officials, players, administrators and parents are asked to complete online training to keep our sport safe. Click here to confirm your courses and start!
As part of your coaching registration you’ll be asked to complete various educational courses that will give you knowledge in some of the following areas Child Protection, Integrity, Complaint Handling, Anti-Match Fixing, Inclusive Coaching, Harassment and Complaint Handling, and plenty more. Click on the image or here to complete your Community Coaching General Principles. The CCGP are essential for completing your coaching and give you the knowledge of working as a coach in Australia. Topics covered include ; roles and responsibilities of coaches, planning, safety, communication, working with parents and inclusive coaching practices.

Securing Badminton Australia Coach Registration is an important step for you as a coach. It signifies that you have the necessary badminton qualification, completed the required coaching certificates, have been trained in ethical and safe coach practices, and understand the sport environment in Australia. Coaches without Badminton Australia Coach Registration have not proven themselves against the required standards and athletes should avoid them.
