Australian Team Announced for World Junior Championships

Badminton Australia has named an eight strong team to compete at the 2012 World Junior Championships in Japan later this year. Jacqueline Guan, Gronya Somerville and Athi Selladurai will all be returning for their second WJC after competing in Chinese Taipei in 2011. While making their debut at the event will be Verdet Kessler, Natasha Sharp, Cham Chen, Daniel Guda and Sawan Serasinghe. National Junior Coach Stuart Brehaut will be joined by Marianne Loh as the team coach and manager respectively.


The event will be held in Chiba, Japan from October 25 – November 3 and will comprise of both a team and individual competition.
