National Insurance Programme

Badminton Australia has negotiated on behalf of its Members National Insurance Coverage for the sport for all those Member Associations/Clubs who wish to be a part of the National Insurance Programme. Working with Marsh Pty Ltd, Badminton Australia has achieved cost effective cover for Member Associations.

Aims of the National Insurance Programme

To offer national insurance coverage for badminton which provides direct benefits to members, players, administrators, coaches and court officials;
To provide more cost effective insurance solutions for the sport nationally;
To implement risk management plans and systems to minimise risks and ensure annual premium increases are kept to a minimum;
To develop a national badminton database of insured members which includes players, administrators, coaches and court officials.

There are two insurance products for those member associations/clubs who have registered through their State/Territory Badminton Association.

1. Group Liability Insurance (Public Liability and Professional Indemnity)
