HOW TO OPERATE THE JUNIOR UMPIRES AWARDS PROGRAMME

WRITTEN TEST:

NB:  The time limit set for the written exam paper is no more than 40 minutes to complete, under your supervision.

PRACTICAL TEST:

TEST PAPERS

The completed test papers on both written and practical tests along with the actual match scoresheets clearly identified by the candidate’s name should now be returned to  COC for checking. (You may reach a fairly accurate opinion of how your players have done in the written test by looking over the papers before you send them on).

Your candidates achieving a pass in both the written and practical tests will receive the appropriate level Junior Umpire badge and a certificate.  These will be sent to you for presentation. There is no charge for the Bronze badge which is supplied with the compliments of OBCOC but to assist in cost-recovery, associations/clubs will be invoiced $5.00 for each silver and gold badge supplied.

Names and Associations of all those sitting the Junior Umpires Award tests will be recorded and we hope to see most if not all returning in another season to upgrade to a higher level of competency.

We thank you in advance for your efforts in ensuring that the Junior Umpire Awards Programme is a significant and continuing success.
